*Rich ores were once extracted from franchise mines dug around the base of the Grettir hyper-volcano cluster. The main settlement is built on a dormant spur and populated largely by the descendents of robo-jockeys who have found new work in the refineries. The polity is controlled by the common agreement of several Kazeron-dominated industrial combines but is not itself a member of the Persean League due to the expenses membership would impose.*
